Carbon Offset from Agricultural Fields

Mitigating climate change is an urgent global issue, and agricultural carbon emissions are an important component of global emissions. Various agricultural activities such as land clearing, cultivation of crops, irrigation, animal husbandry, fisheries and aquaculture have a significant impact on the emission of GHGs and the consequent climate change (IPCC, 2007).

FARMITRON is taking up projects with other collaborators on producing Biobriquette to minimise Carbon emission from Agricultural Fields.
